Professional Development and Learning for Educators

Learn with LINES, Professional Development and Learning for Educators

Professional Learning opportunities at Alonzo King LINES Dance Center offer educators an opportunity to learn concept-based dance principles and engage in a process-oriented exploration of HeART with LINES curriculum. The collaborative environment of the professional development workshops allows educators a community-based learning experience that highlights the tools for integrating movement into the classroom. LINES Community Programs movement-centered approach to learning encourages play, diversity, and artistry in the every-day experience for students. Educators are given the chance to embody and learn the HeART with LINES approach of concept-based dance education being delivered to students by LINES Teaching Artists in the San Francisco and Berkeley Unified School Districts and other private and non-profit institutions within the Bay Area.
