The Feldenkrais Method® Flexible Feet & Ankles Workshop
Donna Bervinchak
Sunday, May 18, 2008; 1:00-4:00 PM
In this workshop, you will learn how to find greater range of motion and
flexibility in your ankles, feet and toes in thoughtful and gentle ways. We
will take our socks off and move our toes and feet in ways that will free
them from the binding effects of wearing shoes and walking on concrete. You
will learn unique and interesting Feldenkrais®, Awareness Through Movement®
lessons that will prepare your feet to be able to walk on any surface from
the beach to the wilderness. This will allow you to move your feet and
ankles in ways required for your life, sport and / or recreational
activities with more ease and agility.
During this workshop, some of the lessons will require you to be
in a position of bearing weight on your hands and knees, periodically.
Donna Bervinchak, Feldenkrais® Practitioner has experience working with
people of all ages and abilities. She especially enjoys working with
dancers and helping them to reach their full artistic potentials. She
teaches a weekly Feldenkrais®class at SFDC on Saturdays from 11:45 am-1 pm.
