Zack Tang, born and raised in the Lone Star State, began his dance training at Dancescape with Joyce Beck. He went on to graduate from The High School for Performing and Visual Arts in 2007 under the direction of Luanne Carter, and became a guest artist for Kingwood Dance Theatre. Zack has also studied at programs such as Tulsa Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, Perry Mansfield, and Springboard Montreal. Upon receiving his BFA from The Juilliard School under the direction of Lawrence Rhodes, Zack was awarded the Hector Zaraspe Prize for choreography. He has performed works by Peter Chu, Victor Quijada, Alexander Ekman, Stijn Celis, Larry Kegwin, Mark Morris, Jose Limon, Anthony Tudor, Martha Graham, and Paul Taylor. Recently, Dance Magazine featured Zack in its “25 to Watch” list for 2012. This is Zack’s first season with LINES Ballet.
